6. Two Worlds

I started thinking about my religious teachings, she was called the Prostitute their dreaming beauty, their Universal Republic. For one of the first initiatives of Bruce the first, Emperor and Patriarch, was to assimilate the Republic to the Prostitute who guides the beast and the legions of darkness in the revelations of the very saint scriptures (remember the color of the Republican uniforms : black !).

Bruce the First was born of the union of the British Empress, head of the church of England, and of the Emperor of all Russias, protector of the Orthodox faith. He declared himself Patriarch of all Christianity et during his reign organized a subtle syncretism (which got to the point were the Imperial Double Cross is being used instead of the Christian Cross). All this to serve one goal, make all Christians and especially his peasants that he was the irreplaceable protector, chosen by God, of their faith.

It is important to realize, that the U. R. made things easier for Bruce the First : during the "European Liberation Revolutionary Wars", the U. R. first integrated the Catholic Church in its administration, and a few years later then decided to dismantle it, to make the Church fit into a new juridical class : Non Lucrative Association. Therefore the pope of that time became President of the Catholic Cult Associations, and even though this didn't change much in the freedom of worship of the people, the international status of the Patriarch of Occident became null.

But religion has nothing to do with my betrayal, so I'll stop talking about it, and after all haven't I been assured, I'll find a place of worship in any Ecumenical Cult Associations. But I've been informed that putting God and British-Russian Emperor in the same sentence was a crime. I think they have a even stronger phobia for crowns than for non metric systems here !

Although in their history books some Kings are positively mentioned : the monarchies that were allied to the young U. R. were in a first step integrated in the Republic as constitutional and parliamentary monarchies, but as soon as the succession of a King was not approved by the people, the State would become irreversibly a Republic. The monarch who didn't attempt to conserve the crown by force was then considered a simple but honorable citizen.
