Victory at Fleurus of Jourdan against the Austrians, allowing the annexation of the Austrian Netherlands, the French-speaking zone is integrated into the Manche Region, the Flemish part is integrated into the new Nederland (9) Region : the old Netherlands which were conquered at the same time. The French royal family dies at the time Austrian defeat. Final choice of the black uniform (Lafayette morns the death of the French Royalty). |
