Lafayette's Great Army stay in the Duchy of Warsaw for the winter.

May 1807

:

UR takes Dantzig, Russians begin supporting the Prussians.

UR declares continental blockade against the British.

June 1807

:

Victory at Friedland againts the Russians and the Prussians.

:

Tilsit Treaty, Prussians and Russians recognize the new Regions of Saxe-Westphalen (18) and of Poland (19).

The King of Prussia must ally to the UR.

 

PORTUGAL and SPAIN

Dec. 1807

:

Fall of Lisbon, taken by Junot, because Portugal hadn't respected the blockade against the British. The King John VI escapes to Brazil (He will create the Empire of Brazil later on and will not try to reconquer Portugal).

Feb. 1808

:

Murat enters in Madrid to make the connection between Junot and Lafayette. Intimidated by the Republicans the King Charles IV of Spain abdicates in favour of his son Ferdinand VII, the later seeks a compromise with the Republicans.

June 1808

:

Ferdinand VII is declared hereditary Governor for life of the new Regions of Castille (20), Leonia (21) and Andalusia (22), elections are held in the new Regions of Euskadia (including the former Gascon Basque Country: 23), of Galis (24), Catalunia (including Andora, Valencia and Balearic Islands: 25) and of Portugal (26). The Old vice-Kings of Latin-America do not recognize Ferdinand VII legetimity and proclaim the Kingdoms of New Spain, New Grenada, Peru and Plata.
